About our Institution

In 1956, Fathema Ismail founded a small workshop in thatched barracks with just seven trainees and three vocational activities. Today, the organization has grown significantly, training 175 beneficiaries across 10 vocational departments. All vocational training is provided free of cost, along with comprehensive support facilities including hostel accommodation, lunch, pick-up and drop services, medical care, and educational assistance.

FPH serves adults with orthopaedic and mild mental disabilities in the age group of 18 to 40 years. No prior educational qualification is required. The institution remains fully inclusive, welcoming persons with disabilities regardless of their literacy level, caste, creed, gender, or religion.
